- Retuned 2.0L Engine
Want to find out what’s changed and how it’s going to improve your daily drive? Simply read on to get the latest news.
The Mazda CX-3 never fails to attract attention thanks to Mazda’s forward-thinking design philosophy, and the latest model brings a score of changes to take styling to the cutting-edge, including:
- Bolder Grille with Additional Bars
- Chrome Accents on the Lower Bumper and Doors
- LED Taillights
- New Soul Red Crystal Paint Option
- New 18-Inch Wheels with Painted Hollows
The switch to an electronic parking brake makes one notable change. Without the old manual brake, the redesigned center console feels more open and the cupholders have been nicely relocated. There’s also an integrated armrest.
Further interior enhancements include available full-leather seating surfaces with sport stitching and pleated piping.
The 2.0L engine is back, but it has been retuned to bump output up to 148 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. Those are strong figures for a subcompact SUV, and they add a little more potency over the outgoing model. Better yet, Mazda promises the new tuning will increase torque across the rpm range.
You’ll also find:
- Standard G-Vectoring Control vehicle dynamics enhancements
- Predictive i-ACTIV AWD® available across all trims
